TELL CONGRESS: The Muslim Brotherhood Is A Terrorist Organization

Other countries know this and have put into place Muslim Brotherhood bans, such as the U.A.E., Egypt, Russia, and Bahrain. Now it's our turn.

Staying true to its intellectual forefathers, Hassan al-Banna and Sayyid Qutb, the Muslim Brotherhood has been committed to violence since its inception in 1928. Even though the Brotherhood publicly renounced violence in 1971, it was more for tactical purposes (a deal with then-Egyptian President Sadat). When looking at the bloody history of the Brotherhood one can see Brotherhood involvement in numerous wars and revolutions (from Algerian War of Independence 1954-62 to the 2011 Tahrir Square revolution in Egypt). Elliott Friedland writes about the Brotherhood’s influence and engagement in terrorism over the years at the Clarion Project:

They have been the leading source of inspiration behind terrorist organizations such as al-Qaeda and its offshoot the Islamic State. Founder Hassan al-Banna and ideologue Sayyid Qutb wrote extensively on the importance of armed jihad. Qutb is also credited with the idea of modern political understanding of jahilliya, which holds that any government which does not implement sharia as state law is in a state of un-Islamic ignorance and should be opposed.

Osama bin Laden’s mentor, Abdullah Azzam, and the mastermind of 9/11, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, were both members of the Muslim Brotherhood before they joined al-Qaeda.

The Muslim Brotherhood branch in Gaza, Hamas, is a terrorist organization which glorifies attacks on civilians and seeks to violently eradicate the state of Israel and commit massacres against the Jews living there.

Other countries know this and have put into place Muslim Brotherhood bans, such as the U.A.E., Egypt, Russia, and Bahrain. Egypt, the birthplace of the Brotherhood, knows the violent and revolutionary side of the group quite well. Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Morsi when campaigning for president of Egypt stated (translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute-MEMRI TV), “Jihad is our path.” “And death for the sake of Allah is our most lofty aspiration.” This is the same Morsi, who as President of Egypt supposedly funneled $25 million through Muslim Brotherhood leader Khairat al-Shatter to Al Qaeda leader Ayman Zawahiri for enabling jihadi groups “…to support the Brotherhood.” Being able to get elected as president of a country with the largest Arab population in the world (Egypt) and considered by many “as an intellectual and cultural capital of the Muslim world,” shows the power and determination of the Brotherhood.

However, the Muslim Brotherhood (especially in the West) pursues a deceptive strategy of incrementalism; thereby, little by little they seek to transform civil institutions and governments into their ultimate goal of a global Islamic caliphate under Sharia law. We have already seen this plan articulated by the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood in the document labeled “An Explanatory Memorandum,” retrieved from the infamous Holy Land Foundation Trial in 2007. Not only did the trial expose Muslim Brotherhood front organizations (ex. Council on American-Islamic Relations-CAIR) in the U.S. raising funds for Hamas, but also revealed the U.S. Brotherhood’s plan of “civilization jihad” for America. Counterjihad.com quotes their diabolical plan by stating:

“…The Ikhwan [Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

So, in their own words the U.S. Brotherhood seeks to deliberately overthrow the U.S. Constitution and rule of law. Taking everything into consideration it’s easy to see how dangerous the Muslim Brotherhood is to the U.S. Constitution and the American way of life.
